Ooooh my! The technology in menstrual cycle tracking has gotten better with the introduction of Ava – a new wearable bracelet. With this, the data that can be collected is really useful and can be more convenient especially for those looking to conceive. We continue the flow-versation about the evolution of uterus transplants in this episode. (In case you missed it, check out the first episode, No Properly Functioning Uterus? No Problem!, here or sistersofflow.com/sof22) Also, Iris Josephina Verstappen photographed herself covered in her own menstrual blood, and we talk about why she did it. It is quite profound and had us wondering if we would do it, too.
Feed your period with bananas! These convenient yellow fruit can deal a blow to those cramps due to the potassium and B6. As a Yin tonic, they do help to nourish Blood but beware…we talk about what to be mindful of so as to not over do it.
